These educational practices would involve cognitive, physical, social and emotional strategies to help your child’s development appropriately.

Philosophy

Ohana Family Daycare recognizes the importance of play in the learning process for young children. Play is the basis for learning in our program. We stride to empower children, promote individuality and develop a strong partnership with families in a way that helps young children grow in each of the four main areas of development: social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language. We recognize that each area of development is an integral piece of early childhood growth and learning.

What Makes Us Different

What has us stand out amongst other child care providing services is that we’re a country setting environment with plenty of space and room for children to roam, play, to explore and grow. We pride ourselves in our outdoor environment where the kids can learn through play outside by using their imagination without the usage of electronics and media.

We are family owned and operated, with our teacher and staff having more than 20 years of combined experience in working with children of all ages. The caring teachers who guide your children are highly trained.

Our Teachers are our greatest asset! Our Teachers have an Early Childhood Education background, extensive training and experience to meet and exceed the State requirements for their position. They also take additional trainings to stay up to date to take care of your child’s needs properly and more efficiently!
